Katerina Nikolaidou

Katerina is a strong and proactive legal professional with experience in Public Procurement and State Aid Law. She studied Law at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an LL.M. in Public Procurement and State Aid Law from Heidelberg University and a PG Diploma in Competition Law from King’s College of London.


Katerina has gained a clear understanding of policy making and applications in government environments through her working as legal counsel and legal assistant at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Greece and at DG Competition of European Commission. Moreover, through her working as legal professional in various law firms in Athens and as independent freelance lawyer she obtained the ability to gather and analyse data, to prioritize and build successful negotiations as well as emphathise with clients to understand their concerns, transform their problem into workable solutions, and establish trust.

Katerina has a strong interest for finding solutions on social problems and make the world a better place. Currently, as member of Nudge Unit Greece her main interest is to help organizations create processes that make it easy for new ideas to be heard and adopted.
